Childcare Teacher
The St. Michael Childcare program is in search of a part-time Childcare Teacher to provide care for preschool through 5th grade aged students. Opportunities include part-time hours for seasonal or year-round openings.
Childcare teacher responsibilities include:
- Encourage positive behavior and good manners
- Provide a pleasant, safe, and sanitary environment
- Ensure students adhere to the school and child care stated rules and policies
- Plan, schedule and implement developmentally appropriate experiences
- Respect the dignity and basic rights of each child
- Work with and refer to the director children with unmet needs
- Make daily observations of the health of children, reporting conditions which require attention
- Work with director and parents to solve behavior problems
- Help children learn to adapt to and cope with real-life situations; to develop appropriate habits in such activities as eating, dressing, napping and personal hygiene
- Assure that equipment and materials are accessible, appropriate and in good condition
- Perform classroom cleaning duties as requested
- Maintain a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere for staff and children

Bus Driver
Hastings Catholic Schools is currently accepting applications for a part-time bus driver to help with morning route, afternoon route, field trips, and other various activities. This position is for Mondays through Fridays on days that school is in session. Background screening, Safe Environment training, and random drug screening are mandatory for securing the position.
Although this is a part-time position, opportunities to combine duties with another role are available.

Hastings Catholic Schools is seeking candidates for Substitute Teaching positions at the elementary, middle school, and/or high school levels. Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate or State Substitute Certificate is required. Background screening and Safe Environment training are mandatory.
