Dual Enrollment Opportunities
Dual Credit Courses
Nebraska Wesleyan University and Hastings College offer high school juniors and seniors college credit by taking select advanced-level courses. These credit hours are transferable to most colleges and universities. Students can earn up to 6 credit hours in English. Students who take Advanced Literature can earn 3 credit hours in either English or Religion at NWU. Students who take Advanced Chemistry can earn up to 8 credits through Hastings College, which includes time in a college Chemistry lab. The cost of course credit is the responsibility of the student, and scholarships are available through the ACE Program.
Early College
Juniors and seniors may enroll in the Early College Program through Central Community College. Students can take online, individual self-paced, or traditional on-campus lecture courses. Academic Transfer programs are listed on the CCC website with acceptable transfer equivalence for Nebraska Schools.
